Denise suggested that we should do some photography of the christmas lights-up & we decided on the orchard area. However, on my way to town, the rain started pouring! Luckily, it reduced to a drizzle when my bus reached orchard. We went to Ngee Ann City's Central Cha Chan Teng.... it had been quite a while since i stepped here & realised some shops had changed! hmm, even the menu at Central is abit different wo...finally decided on the pork chop baked rice, while Denise had the pork chop noodles. My 1st try of the baked rice here, not bad.... We chit chat & end up took a long time to finish my food, keke!
We strolled around in the mall & I suggested to visit the traditional x'mas tree which Ngee Ann City always put up. However, both of us agreed that the decor this year looks dull, wif the crimson red & gold baubles on the tree. Well, wif abit of my creativity, I proposed that we should snap a reflection of ourselves on one of the gold baubles, to create the 'magical' feel, haahaa! Denise praised me for my creativity & we went searching for the perfect gold bauble but most have scratches! End up, this pic is the best we could snap.... Guess wat? Two other gals saw wat we did & copied my idea lo! Usually Paragon's facade has nice x'mas tree, but this year's looks too glitzy & the colours clashes. As we strolled towards somerset, we saw 4 fatty santas at the Heeren junction, which were not cutie leh. Outside Centerpoint, there were 2 sets of reindeers decor wif the words ''The Magic Book Christmas'' lit up in a cool blue, that's nice. Our conclusion is the decor this year is not nice, only abit special is the spiral blue lights hanging from the trees spanning orchard road. Besides that, we couldn't feel the x'mas ambience....gosh, how i miss HK's Christmas!!!
