One of the national monuments of Singapore would be the City Hall & our former Supreme Court overseeing the Padang. Over the weekend, these 2 places had an open house for the public to gain an insight into the interiors via guided tours, before converting them into the future National Art Gallery of Singapore by 2012. As we decided to visit pretty last minute, we did not enrol into the guided tours (which was quickly filled).
Without joining the tour, Ruby & I only managed to visit the photo exhibit inside City Hall & thereafter took a stroll around the vicinity. It was a super humid late afternoon & the heat certainly affected my mood too! Towards the end of our photoshoot, we were glad that the setting sun had created a crimson hue over the cloudy skies! As we strolled further away from the buildings, the better it got! Finally i've a couple of nice pics to bring home for the evening!
