Evening Walk @ Henderson Waves Bridge

I had not been to Henderson Waves bridge since my first visit in 2009, despite it's not too far from my place.  Recently, was chatting with my dad and he told me there is a shortcut to get up to the bridge next to Mt. Faber Safra club. I was unaware of it as I went via the Mt. Faber route last time.

Today, I wanted to apply Passion Card at Radin Mas Community Centre & decided impromptu to bring along my dslr... End up, I didn't get the card as the personnel told me that I need to sign up for their courses before I'm eligible for the $6 promo rate (usual $12 for 5yrs). Well, since none of the courses attract me, i gave up the idea. Took an early dinner at Telok Blangah Crescent's coffee-shop... After filling myself, i strolled over to Safra to hunt for the pathway.

I finally caught sight of a stairscase among the foliages... It seems absolutely quiet & I did hesitated if to climb up. The stairscase is rather steep! I juz gotta psycho myself to hang on & should see the bridge soon! Upon reaching the Henderson Waves Bridge, I saw a dramatic orangy cluster of cloud over the bridge... I decided to experiment wif low angles, while bending down to shoot, someone ran past me (felt ground vibrated)... upon getting up, i felt a dizzy spell! Gosh! Went to sit down & have a drink instead to 'stablise' myself... After that, I felt a height phobia whenever i looked down, cos u can vaguely see moving traffic among the tiny gaps on the wooden bridge! It's elevated at 36 metres above Henderson Road afterall!

At the end of the bridge, I wonder which of the two paths should i take to descend... A look at the map & signages were rather confusing! I stopped a 30+ looking jogger to ask which path should i take to lead to Telok Blangah Hill Park? As he's also taking the same path, I followed him... He's really a nice guy & chatted wif me abit... when we reached the foot of the hill, he gave me very precise directions to head home! I estimated that i probably had walked 5km from there to home... all sweat!
