I had been looking forward to today cos my fren ~ Candace invited me to her place for dinner. Earlier, she had given me the privilege to decide on the menu... haha, i really VIP hor! Despite a rainy day, i was determined to make my way there....
When i stepped into her house, i could smell the aroma of the Sweet & Sour Pork! Expectations went one notch higher liao... cos i noe for sure she's a good chef. Today's menu ~ sweet & sour pork, herbal chicken & steamed toufu wif fish meat. Well, good food of course have to wait lah... the herbal chix need to steam for 3 hrs.
While waiting, my fren's son ~ Dylan came home fr nanny's place... I think he's in pretty good mood today as he was putting on his cheeky smile.
Finally, the much awaited herbal chix is ready! Wow, have overflowing of gravy too...yum yum! I love herbal chix! Last to dish out was the steamed toufu, which my fren said was her grandpa's secret recipe, hehe! My verdict: the chix was really tasty & tender... while the sweet & sour pork was veri crispy. The toufu was not bad too. Really had a hearty dinner... it's been really many years since i hv such 爱心餐 (ai xin meal).
After dinner, i disturbed Dylan by splashing water on his face... by now, he's warm up to me liao, noe can play wif me. While i was watching TV, he suddenly poke me wif a fork! Is that a 'revenge' ? He can be cute, yet a little monster at times! Nevertheless, I really appreciate candace's efforts in wiping up her specialty dishes, thanks! ^o^
