Today our team had dim sum lunch together at Yan Palace, in view of Elene's last day with our Co this fri. Sharks, i had sore eye & din get to sleep well the prev nite... wif a slightly swollen eyelid, I dragged myself to work.
Before i was really sober in ofc, my colleague ~ Teresa asked me over to her side...orh, hv to discreetly sign our autograph on a specially created card for elene. The end product was actually veri nicely done by Teresa, as it had our team photo fr our Fullerton Dinner & all our farewell messages for elene nicely done up in a hard-backed album fr Prints.
At 11.30am, our team strolled under the blazing sun across the rd to Yan Palace...it's was really hot! At the restaurant, we checked the a la carte dim sum list & 9 of us ordered the 皮蛋瘦肉粥. LingEn veri funny, she said she dun eat the century egg, neither the pork! So we teased her, then eat plain porridge ah? waahaaa! Teresa also disliked pork but when she saw it's actually finely shredded pork, she's fine wif it. We also had 叉燒酥, 叉燒腸粉, 蝦腸粉, 蛋撻, 腐皮卷... first time try the egg tart & it's actually the mini version, quite tasty :) I whacked most of the 腸粉 as i realized it's rarely touched (dun waste) & there's only 1 plate each wo! Our team ppl r mostly small eaters leh! Even Josh & Kelvin are not big eaters! Only KY, me & elene can eat more ... haha!
Nearing the end of our lunch, Teresa gave Elene our autographed album & a veri ex massage voucher from Fullerton Hotel chipped by all of us. All of us stopped eating at that moment & Kelvin even joked, saying if Elene gg to be so touched till cry! keke!
Few mins later, Jasmine who sat next to me suddenly took out a big bag & handed to me! I was stunned lo! HUH? what's that for? Jasmine said this is my bday present fr the team! Hohoho! She asked me to unwrap it... the wrapper is Pooh bear de, so kawaii! I carefully opened the wrapper & discovered it's a bag of 小叮噹 stuff, bundled by scotch tape! My 1st reaction, "Wow! Like Children's Day!'' ^o^ Really touched & surprised lo! Together with my big present, there's a birthday card which Teresa designed the envelope. She even said, ''See, hv glitter one!'' keke!
