Fullerton Hotel Buffet ...

Finally, it's Fri again! Quite a bz day and everyone were looking forward to day-end when our whole team can go buffet tog. The inital plan was Merchant Court Hotel & i din realize they changed it...the change was an 'upgrade' to Fullerton Hotel!!! Wow! I always only get to walk past & see ppl eat but had never gone to the extravagance of eating at Fullerton lo!

Well, since our team won the Ovation Award & were given a budget of $60 per head, this seafood buffet is worthwhile leh ... after all the taxes & uob card 10% discount, it's $50 each. As there were 11 of us, we got a corner long table to ourselves. There were a spread of fresh seafood such as oysters and sashimi bar, pasta (can choose your pref ingredients, the chef will cook on the spot & serve to your table), the usual dishes selection, pastry/desserts & fruits sections. We were impressed by their service too! The waiter would clear our plates promptly & he seems to serve us almost exclusively, haha! He even doubled up as our photographer at e end of the meal, keke! =)

I eat buffet veri 'bo hua' cos i dun dare to eat raw food, but i see my colleagues who luv the sashimi & oysters had a great time enjoying numerous plates of these delicacies! My food choices r quite limited as a number of items r spicy too... grrr! So i tried the salmon terriyaki, some sushi, tempura, pasta etc... the most filling was my 2 slices of cakes! One was Mango Mousse Cake, the other was Blueberry Cheesecake.... the mango one was yummylicious! The strawberry fondue was a tate disappointing as its sour & not ripe enuf :(

What filled me up was all the laughter after filling my tummy wif food!!! Cos Teresa initated to play the ''Passing Message Game'' & the someone had to start a long message & pass on the line & back to originating person. U bet the results were damm hilarious lo! I secretly took some candid shots of them....waaahaha! The message was 100% distorted at the end of each game! Dunno why sprout 'durians & rambutans', when in fact the original msg had ''prunes, honeydew & pineapples''! Another part was ''adored'' became distorted to ''a dog & a cat''! Juz becos Josh heard as 'a dog' & he added 'a cat' as he think the animals r associated! DUH! All of us laughed at one another for the sillyness till buay tahan!

Well, i guess this will be the last official dinner wif my team as i gg to be trf to another team fr Jun onwards... sob sob! Guess have to stay positive & hopefully will learn more things.
