Journey to the East ... Yummy Food!

Yesterday was another hot weather day...I met up wif Ruby & Zhifang at People's Park Complex to book our korea trip. Yippie! Finally, we had ''chopped'' seats as e 1st 20 pax in e grp, & enjoyed $150 disc each. Can't wait for Nov to arrive and we can enjoy e autumn maple scene... 旋转木马 at Lotte World, Everland, the 2 rows of trees at Nami Island, featured in Winter Sonata...haahaa! Enjoy freezing ourselves, as we were inf e temp be hovering bet 0 to 10 deg!!! I wan to go there take some artistic shots back.

After we were done, our next destination was Bedok...as i accompanied the 2 gals for their fortune-telling session. I was their appointed secretary, helped to jot down wat e fortune-teller says. But i dun really like tt old man, he dun seems credible to me. Zf was gloomy aft e session as she still had many unanswered doubts, since e master was rushing during her turn. As an on-looker, quite interesting to know fortune-telling can be so 'mathematical' wo! Veri chim calculations to derive ur fate!

Nearing 6pm, we returned to Bedok Interchange & chg to Bus No. 222, headed to 85 Bedok North. Ruby rec we try the hawker food there. We found a cool alfresco table, not so smoky...i let 2 of them decide wat to order. Guess wat? In e end, our table had a spread of Hokkien Prawn Mee, Satay (chix+ketupat), BBQ sting-ray, Fried Oyster Omelette, BBQ chix wings & fresh sugar-cane wif lemon!!! As i'm not a fan of sting-ray, cos i scared e spicy sambal... also dun like oyster omelette, so i got to eat 3/4 plate of e hokkien mee! I was soo hungry then, was veri much indulged in my food. It's been a long time since i ate satay...it tasted so tender & the satay sauce was delicious! I also ate half e Ketupat (rice). Got eat some of e stingray, those parts nt covered wif sambal, of course!

At end of our 1hr feasting, we were veri full...heng, tummy din appear ah! Since we rarely ventured to Eastern part, i sugg we go chk-out Tampiness Ikea. Again, we veri heng, got Bus 168 almost immed fr inter-chg. It was like bus rides adventure ard e East, haha! We kept chg so many buses. Our 1st time arriving at Ikea, saw Courts & Giant hypermart also there...wat a huge area! We only managed to walk ard Ikea, over 2hrs...our feets ached at end of it. We enjoyed browsing e home decor, seems only me envision my dream home (^_^)

Nearing 11pm, had to rush to get our bus...luckily ZF sugg i boarded same bus as them to SengKang MRT, then travel via NEL home. Else, it be so sian for me to get back to Tampiness alone. Heng ah! I got on last train home!! phew! buy 4-D also nt so lucky wo!
