Veri fast, had came to the last day of our HK trip...It's a free day and we slept abit later till 9am. I had planned to eat a real good meal on our last day in HK. I wanna recommend Mich to Sweet Dynasty ~ 唐朝 located at Tsim Sha Tsui, Canton Rd! It's a muz-try dim sum + dessert restaurant. I had visited this place in 2002 and the taste still stuck firmly in my mind!
We chk-out our room & stored our baggages wif the hotel. Then we took MTR to TST for our much-awaited brunch. Yeah! Purposely saved my stomach for this, keke! Oh, 唐朝 had shifted a few units down the street & had a new decor, more elaborate but somehow, i still pref the retro version in its old outlet. Thou was Sunday morning, luckily we din need to queue. We ordered dim sum, i proposed the muz-try 瘦肉皮蛋粥,油條,燒賣,蝦餃 & my fav 叉燒腸粉. After eating, I felt veri full liao, Mich still wan ordered the 蛋撻 but too bad not ready yet. We took a long time to choose our desserts as the variety was alot! I cfm wan eat the 豆花 series & chose the one topped wif mango! Told Mich, i luv the dry ice effect cos last time i ate bef...kana 'suan' dry ice can't be eaten!! haahaa!

After our fufilling brunch, we strolled down to Hard Rock Cafe located on the
same street & took quite awhile to decide wat merchandise to buy. Shop finish liao, I wan show Mich the Star Ferry Terminal ~ my fav pl in HK!! We strolled along the harbourfront and snapped many pics... Saw the skies was getting dark & cloudy. We quickened our pace to reach further down to Avenue of Stars. It was intended to be visited on 2nd nite but we din had time. As we were walking the Ave of Stars, we felt the rain was approaching. Judging from the outlook, it's gonna be a thunderstorm! Suddenly, it started to pour & we ran all the way to seek shelter at the HK Museum of Art. I joked that celebrities walked the Ave of Stars but we ''ran'' on the Ave of Stars... as if a tsunami was coming, haha!
Due to the thunderstorm, the harbourview 'vanished' from our eyes! We spent some time inside the souvenirs shop in the museum. When it reduced to a drizzle... we walked to Sogo & The Peninsula Hotel to take a look. Btw, tis is their most posh hotel in HK! Many celebrities & tai-tais like to high-tea in this hotel... Seeing time was getting late, we headed back to our hotel area in Jordan. Over there, Mich continued her shopping of snacks at Ichiban. Then, we went for an early tea/dinner at a cafe nearby & i had a 叉燒燒肉飯, somehow the 燒味 in HK taste better than Sg lo!
By 5pm, we had to return to Evergreen Hotel to collect our baggages... there was still a light drizzle. We were considered lucky to rain only on our last day in HK! Well, all good things have to come to an end... At the hotel, i chk wif directions to board our airport shuttle. The bell-boy went the extra-mile & carried our baggages all the way to the bus-stop, not expecting any return! We were delighted at his service.
On the flight back to Sg... both of us were veri tired. I took a nap till dinner time, which was considered my supper. It was stewed beef wif smash potatoes, nice! The lady who sat next to me was veri helpful when we boarded the flight & helped me put my bag into the cabin. I chatted wif her & found that she's an American on a work trip to Sg. Suddenly, me & Mich became tour guides of Sg as we wrote her some places of interests & shopping areas. It's a nice thing to do & it certainly quicken the flight journey.
Overall, it was indeed another experience for me, venturing Hong Kong. Every trip posed diff challenges, even getting lost was part of the package! I would miss the place as i still yet to satisfy my craving of HK food there! ;-)
