Unexpected News...

Finally it's friday! Today was an unproductive day, wasted lots of time 'studying' how to create the excel chart needed for work. While working this morning, my hp received an sms... as my office is exceptionally quiet...i quickly picked up to see who buzzed me. It's from my good fren, Cherie. Upon reading her sms, my heart sunk & tried hard to fight back my tears.

She sent a msg informing her miscarriage... i remembered juz couple of weeks back, when she phoned me to deliver the good news, i was jumping with joy! Back then, she juz found out she was six weeks pregnant. We were even joking whether the name we tot of (one yr ago) can be used...cos' its too early to determine the gender of the baby.

However, the unexpected news today made me hard to focus on work... i held on to my hp for a few minutes... really do not know how to console her. Her msg asked friends not to call her & even apologised for making us so happy... how can one not feel saddend with such a msg?

Well, I juz wanna give her a big hug when we meet up later... I hope she will recover from this ordeal very soon.
