Met up wif Denise at Central's Ma Maison for a pre-birthday celebration... Coincidentally, denise's office had the "Eat With You Family Day'', so she got to knock off earlier! Yeah, if remember correct, it's not the first time she spent this 'family day' wif me!
It was full house at Ma Maison, if not for the reservation denise had made, we would not be able to savour our long-awaited Hamburger Steak & Omu Rice! The last time we came was my last birthday! Time really flies! We always have so much to chat that bef long, we got the hint from the manager, it's time to vacate our table for the other diners... As we strolled to Clarke Quay, Denise asked if i wanted go TCC.... a brilliant idea popped up in my mind! I asked if she's keen to walk abit further to The Book Café to try the yummy cheesecake? After a 15mins walk, we found ourselves lounging on the crushy sofa!
Denise's immediate reaction was she loves the sofa till she dun wish to get up! haha! Denise had a Mango Lemonade, while i ordered a Lychee Frost & the New York Cheescake to share. Denise enjoyed the cheesecake as much as i did... only little grouse was it was not as nicely presented as my 1st try ~ no more nicely slice strawberry wif the arty choc sauce design! Ever since i started wif food photography for this blog, i'm a sucker for nice food presentation! We had a great time chit-chatting in the café's cosy ambience... Time simply breezes by when i'm wif my buddy! It's a great evening, wif great food & great company!
