Bday Dining @ Ritz-Carlton 。。。

Rachel suggested gg Ritz-Carlton's Greenhouse to try out the Asian seafood buffet dinner, since her frens mentioned tt it's nice. I tot that being a mid-week, the place shldn't be veri crowded... but i was wrong! The price of e buffet didn't deter the OLs & execs who were dining there... the restaurant was pretty packed. We were ushered to a corner table, tucked away... dimly lit by a small candle. Hmm, my 1st tot was... unable take pic in darkness leh & i really dislike eating in e dark. So, I requested a chg of table, luckily we got one.

After we were settled down, the waitress who had prepared the table for us was nice enuf to chk if we were ok wif it. Ok, gotta attack our 2nd round & counting ... The buffet spread had a wide variety. The cold dishes are sashimi, oysters, crabs, prawns etc... but both of us do not take raw stuff, so our choices were narrowed. The dessert bar looked most tantalising as it seems to wave 'eat me' once u step in. The sides had the usual salads, soup, an indian food selection, vegetarian & cheese station. I mainly had the Hot selection, which i like the baked salmon & fried udon wif prawns best! Also tried abit of sushi. Rachel ate the black pepper crab & actually din mit her gourmet standard! I found the stir-fried chilli prawns were nice but she also 'fail' those! So, dun play play when u serve seafood to Rachel lo...haha!

After 2 rounds, i decided to leave some space in my tummy for desserts & fruits! Gosh, by then so many ppl were crowding at the desserts bar! So below pic showed wat i tried... hmm, sad to say, only the cheesecake was great. Actually the strawberry ice cream also not bad, wif bits of strawberry inside... but it would be better if less sweet. Besides this, i also tried the maple & walnut ice cream, super sweet ah! Luckily, i added the mashmellows to neutralise abit, hehe!

At the end of 2 hrs, really full liao.... tried abit of this & that certainly fill me up, keke! Nevertheless, it was an experience dining at such a luxurious hotel, gotta thanks Rachel once again.
