Since we couldn't fufil our KTV mission last nite... we finally able to KTV today! My addiction had nudged me to organise a ktv, if remember rite... last went was sometime in Jun. That's a considerable long time for a ktv addict like me, hehe!
I was the first to arrive at the KTV & got room 38, my supp lucky number...but alas! This room's air-con was centralised controlled...after our 1st hour inside, me & zf felt so cold! Can't wait for ruby to arrive fast to share our coldness, brrr...
Put aside the coldness, I was simply thrilled that some songs i picked up lately were on the new songs list! Yippie! I luv to challenge new songs which i had not attempted in KTV. Juz a wk earlier, Ruby intro to me 2 new songs ~ a duet by 阿信 & 叮当 《走火入魔》 + 南拳妈妈 《下雨天》. As i scrolled down the songs list, to my surprise... 李玖哲 《不，完美》 was available! As i was hooked to his songs lately, i juz couldn't resist dedicating a few of 李玖哲's songs, such as 《想太多》，《影子》 & 《我会好好过》.
Besides the new hits, Zf decided to have some retro songs too... when she was at 许如芸 page, i suggested we duet 《泪海》, a classic indeed... used to luv this song when i was studying. The chorus part is still clearly etched in my mind. Thanks to Guess x 3 show on sat, their last segment... 《谁是K歌王？》, indeed helped to refresh my memory of some great classic K-Songs! So 《泪海》 was one of them... We also duet 《爱情电影》.
Ruby finally arrived nearing 5pm aft her work-out & she was also thrilled that 《下雨天》 is now available as she couldn't locate it when she was here e prev wk. I duet 《走火入魔》, a light-hearted song wif Ruby, haha! I was also happy to locate tvb serials songs & realized there's a duet version for 林峰 《爱在记忆中找你》, a concert ver wif 泳儿!
Veri soon, our KTV ended 10 mins bef 7pm... wif the prices jacked up, increased K.O.D charges etc, there's no extension to our singing time :( We proceeded to part 2 of our plan. We wanted to dine at Central, Clarke Quay before viewing lanterns by the riverbank. However to our dismay, a torrential rain spoilt our plans... we ended up at Coffee Club to chill out after dinner. We forgot that in shopping mall, the cafes close at 10pm! Why like dat? It's sat wo, as it's still raining cats & dogs, we had to adjoin to BK till it reduce to a drizzle.
Anyway, it's a relaxing & enjoyable weekend ...
