Ruby's Bday ~ Clarke Quay

At 6.30pm sharp, I was at Central ~ Sun with Moon at our reserved alfresco table waiting for the other 3 gals. Almost unable to book a table, heng i reserved 1 wk in advance... the restaurant is having a 30% discount for this branch's 1st anniversary! As Ruby had seen my previous review on Sun with Moon, she also eagerly wish to try, haha!

When Qiuyun arrived, both of us browsed the menu to see wat to order first. When Ruby ~ the birthday gal arrived, we placed our order. Below pics show what we had! Previously, I only tried the Rainbow Roll and the rest were first try. We also unsure what's good & what's not, haha! Qy din really like the Rainbow Roll while ruby & i enjoyed it. In fact, we liked the dish so much, we ordered a 2nd plate!!! We also like the Terriyaki Chicken. The Agadeshi Tofu was pretty normal. Kushi Mori was a chef recommendation on the menu. We ordered to try it out as we couldn't quite figure out the picture, haha! It actually consists of 7 skewers (prawn, small chix wing, pork, sausage, quail eggs, onions) pricked into a baked potato. We also ordered an Okonomiyaki (seafood pancake), which was surprisingly a huge serving! The pancake contains small shrimps & vegetables. Personally i dun quite like that but ruby like its taste.

Only after 3 of us had finished eating, zf arrived. By then, we were left wif not much time as our reservation was till 8.15pm. No matter how tasty the food were, i doubt zf enjoy it much as the food were cold & she was having flu! Around 8.30pm, we strolled across the river bank to TCC. It's our usual drinking spot & it's been awhile since we last went... Qy treated us to drinks & cheesecake. We also snapped some pics of the river front & ourselves...too bad, the waiter's photography skills not up to mark lah! I pref the one i took for the 3 gals, haha!

After Zf & Qy left, ruby & i continued our chit-chat till 11pm before we bid goodbye!
