Sentosa turned Chinatown Outing...

Woke up this morning...wondering if the sky was cloudy or hazy? Cos' me & my 3 poly frens had planned to visit Sentosa together & been talking about it since 1 mth ago! Keeping fingers cross, we met at Harbourfront at abt 10.30am. Settled at Mac for breakfast...& we all happily took the Sentosa shuttle bus. We checked our map & decided to walk to the nearest orchid gardens. Then, ZF's 乌鸦嘴 asked if would rain....guess wat? It started to drizzle... We chided her for talking abt rain! We fastened our pace to seek a shelter & it started pouring! We stood at the shelter & started to take pics of those fat kois in the pond.

Rain became a drizzle again...we started our journey towards the Merlion Walk, to our dismay, the area was under upgrading...the used to be miniature fountain had no sprouting water. Haiz! Nevermind, we continued past the Spice Garden's escalator ... saw an antique car to snap pic near Images of S'pore... moving on was Imbiah Lookout. God was really 'nice' to us wo...when we wished to proceed to play the Luge ride, torrential rain befalls! We realised this rain was unlikely to stop so fast... So, we found seats inside Subway & ordered 1-foot long subway sandwich meal to share. The time was almost 1pm. With the on & off bad weather, our mood were really dampened as we wished to go the beaches.

With such heavy rain, we really dunno how to carry on our itinerary. ZF suggested go shopping...me & ruby tot of ktv. Ok, so at 2pm, we quickly boarded the shuttle bus back to Harbourfront & took a bus to my house...juz a stone-throw away. At my house, i got changed & we zapped down to the nearest Partyworld Chinatown by 3.30pm. The next 4 hours were spent KTVing & we actually dedicated 8 pgs of songs lists!!! *sheepishly* i selected the most songs lah! haha! I enjoyed the duet with QY most - 你最真贵. I sang Jacky Cheung's part while she sang the gal's... woo!

7.40pm, I suggested going to eat dim sum & porridge at one of the food outlet there which i liked. It was extremely crowded. All of them luv my recommendation! As mid-autumn festival is coming, the whole of chinatown was bustling with festive mood with crowds thronging the streets stalls. We followed suit & spent the night snapping photos as each street was decorated with different designs & coloured lanterns. It's the 1st time i saw chinatown having such ambience, other than during Lunar New Year. The lanterns decor' were nice, with dragonflies lanterns that could flap its wings...嫦儿 swirling next to gigantic lanterns...all these lining the middle of the main road. There's a long dragon lantern that lit up the overhead bridge too!

Well, we lost some & gain some... luckily the impromptu change was not bad afterall! At the end of day, everyone enjoyed today tremendously as it was so rare to gather all 4 of us together.
