Started new job for 1 week liao...only 1 word to describe ~ ''exhausted''. Thou i was mentally prepared the starting be tough but nv expect till this extend. For one, we start out at super early, brain still not too awake yet, hee! Day 2 onwards was akin to gg battle! Luckily, not only me felt the pressure but all the 7 batch mates felt likewise... The training needed to prepare us for the job was taught at super fast speed.... need to jot notes & do hands-on at systems all-tog! To add on, we r called upon to ans questions & role plays. (rack my nerves @ times!)
Diff trainers have diff style.... one of them spoke super fast & felt most stress when she teach. While we also hv an ''angel'', our team leader who is a pretty gal who speak at juz the right pace & tone, exuding a sense of charisma too!
Most joyous was the gd welfare....wif an open concept pantry, stock up wif snacks & fridges juz like those u see in 7-11 stores! To add on, every morn hv breakfast provided. But due to this stressful period, no mood to explore the breakfast yet, haha!
Finally, end of Week One & Christmas is approaching... need the break manz! Last fri, joined the dept's ''Movers' Party + X'mas Party'' at The Straits. The whole dept was really a mixture of ppl fr diff nationalities...maybe tt's y u call it MNC, keke! Perhaps i could pick up some simple foreign lang in future fr them! Our manager & ''angel'' TL got us newbies candy sticks, gingerbread ''teddy'' & sweet personalised x'mas cards. At the party, we newbies gotta do self-intro in front of everyone & rec'd a small gift each. Cos the rest had x'mas gift exchange game!
