初三 was KTV-ing day again! Yeah! Initally, only Ruby & me but finally i managed to 'jio' Zhifang & Xiuling tog! Great, at least more 热闹 ;-)
Ruby & me arrived first & discovered dun hv our usual fruit plate wo! Guess wat? we got 4 mandarin oranges served to us instead, cos its CNY period LoL. Also dun hv 10% disc thou' we still enjoy the $9.80 promo rate.
We dedicated our usual songs, comprising a long list of Jay's songs for Ruby, Ah-Mei's songs for XL, ZF & Me, chalked up till 5 pages! New MVs I 式唱 were 《公主小妹》 主题曲 《新窝》, an MV i enjoy cos hv 吴尊 & the rest of 飞轮海 + S.H.E！It's a happy & joyful MV =). I also sang 张韶涵 《不想懂得》, the drama's sub-theme song... well, i wish the MV be more interesting & show the scene shots! Can't get enuf of 吴尊, keke!
I think probably all of us add tog really too many songs...till i forget to dedicate any canto songs wo! My song lists r really 'rojak', wif no specific singers... everytime trying to see if any new MVs i wanna watch or learn to sing. Somehow, certain songs r 百唱不腻 ... ‘经典歌曲’such as 《你最珍贵》 is one of our fav duet. That day, ruby asked me to sing 陈伟联 《I Love You》， a song wif jap compose origin & had since been translated into eng, korean, mandarin...not sure if any other languages. We heard Goong Yoo's (main lead fr 咖啡王子一号店) korean version in a concert & we were both memerised by his singing, hehe! I first heard the chinese version & like it too, as i can better undst the meaning of the song & thus sing wif 'feel'.
4 hrs of chit-chat & singing came to an end at 7pm. We decided to try out the Pasta Cafe at Ngee Ann City. It was a Long Wait thou' the line was short. Our stomaches growled & we were 'stoned' aft deciding wat to eat. XL & I wanted to try the mushroom & beef baked rice, but to our dismay, we were inf tt the dish was not available (sometime aft we ordered)! Oh man, so we ended opting for the beef lasagna. It's not tt fantastic afterall :(
Aft dinner, we shopped in Takashimaya & strolled down to Centrepoint's Mac for a drink & more chit-chat bef we bidded adieu.
