Sat was spent wif zhifang & ruby at People's Park Complex...juz joining them in search of their respective ''fortune'' rings. It's really hard to find exactly wat they wan, despite e numerous jewellery shops there. Aft an hr or so, we decided to have tea at the hawker ctr. Zf finally got to try the famous yong tau foo there...while the 2 of us ate some light dim sum.
Nearing 5pm, we headed to harbourfront station, for zf to settle some work. Me & ruby window-shopped at VivoCity. Poor ruby was sniffing away the whole aftn, as the malls were cold aft the torrential rain. I spotted the former DJ, yang junwei at PageOne...ooh, think he was there for his new chinese bk's autograph session. Before we realised, it's almost 7.30pm, when zf returned to mit us. We zapped to the rooftop's Marche for dinner. Alamak! Long Q manz... 1st time we dined there.
When we got a table in Marche, i realised this branch was smaller... was disappointing when dun c my usual fav ~ chix leg. Also, dun hv the usual choose ur own toppings pizza leh! Abit can't believe... End up, we had Rosti wif chix & cheese sausage, Mushroom & Ham Crepes, Sausage Pizza Bread + the muz-drink Root Beer too. Ooh...duno why, i juz feel all e dishes not as fantastic as used to be. Our complain was the pizza bread, so hard till i gave up cutting it, juz stuff in my mouth, keke! The chix & cheese sausage, only hav a tiny bit of cheese. Zf & ruby commented, they 1st time helped me finish the crepe... ya, i dun like the strong mushroom taste.
After dinner, both of them got tis sudden inspiration to go Mt Faber!!! Ah? I told them, there's nothing fasinating up there leh. Ruby said she's nv been there. Ok, so we took a cab up Mt Faber...The air was pretty still aft the day's rain. But many cars still layed the pavement. On the hill-top, there was no breath-taking nite scene :( Then, we went peep at Altivo & saw the fat Koi swimming... a no. of ppl were enjoying the live band there. As we abt to get our cab, there was a long traffic jam. Earlier we spotted 2 traffic police & wonder y they came up. Zf said, muz be accident in front lah! (wow! suddenly so smart, keke!). The cab driver which supp to pick us, also veri impatient, wanted us to walk down e rd to his cab! Ridiculous, since he's still quite a distance away.
Aft much waiting, e jam was eased & we had a slow descend down Mt. Faber & bidded good nite.
