Checking out Sub-Urban Malls...

07-07-2007, an auspicious date? Juz like wat the papers said, many weddings were held today. Coincidentally, me & my family also attended my cousin's church wedding in AMK area. The weather so nice, wish could be in bed longer!

We arrived at the church around 11.30am, I was alreadi feeling restless, hungry & abit cold while sitting thru' the pastor's speech...Oh, i simply dislike church weddings! Tried hard to keep awake, thou e pastor tried to be witty in his speech on ''forgiveness'' as the way to a gd marriage!!! Well, it's easier said than done lo...Finally, the ceremony ended & i clapped, cos can eat buffet liao mah! =)

Actually, i most looked forward was to mit Clara at AMK hub. Yeah! Wat beats meeting my buddy? It's my 1st time at AMK Hub! Not bad wo, for a sub-urban mall...better than my area! We shopped around the whole mall, & walked till tired. I wan to chk-out The Face Shop & knowing that's Clara's area of expertise..consulted her on which is the best lip gloss for me! keke! I got one & she ended up wif more stuff for herself, said i tempted her to shop! haahaa! But most sweet of her, was suddenly gave it to me & refused to accept my payment! Aiyo!

I suggested to bring her to Novena area for dinner, to make-up for her bday on prev day. Off we board the MRT to Novena, & our first time checking out the new Square2 mall adjoining Novena Sq. The layout of the shops veri bad wif tiny shops...mainly selling shoes, ladies' wear & accessories. Some units still under reno too! But seems not much biz yet, i rarely notice any publicity for this mall...supp to be a korean-focused mall rite? However, to our disappt, it's NOT!

After a total of 4hrs non-stop shopping fr AMK to Novena, my legs were aching liao. So off we went to Hong Kong Cafe opp Novena Church! Finally, can eat my fav hk food...kekeke! I really ''Live to Eat'', wat else can brighten up my day? We ordered ''Fried Beef Kway Tiao'', ''Seven Spices Frog Legs on Hot Plate'', ''Har Gow'', ''Prawns in Fried Beancurd Skin'' + our fav Cold Honey Lemon drinks. Looking at the food, we irresistibly tucked in & goofed down...only remembering i din take any photo shoots aft finished! haahaa! I muz commend the frog legs...so tenderlicious! Except, the spices abit too strong! At end of our dinner, i even wanted to share dessert, but clara said,''Huh! still wan to eat?'' But hor, the mango pudding there is really fantastic DA!

Clara said, i'm to blame for making her eat so much...kekeke! Well, i find nothing beats having a nice meal wif buddies! ;-)
