Black Friday Battle...

Yesterday, was a black friday...early mornin open my office email. An email titled 'warning letter' was awaiting me to open! After reading, i juz felt it's ridiculous!!! Needless to say, it's from my idiot boss. He's incapable nvm, but tis email potrays wat kind of a person is he...petty, childish & brainless. His E.Q is xtremely low as he speaks without filter & much less to mention his 'beng' style manners.

I got my colleague to read it, as she & me share same boss. All of us know his pattern...Someone who brags alot but shove all the work to us. He failed to reflect why none of his team respect him. His bluntness in speech & insensivity had offended people w/o realising.

My colleague, Amelia advised me to go straight to big boss to clarify. Without hesitation, i went into my big boss' room. I asked if he saw that email. He said he was shocked! Asked me what happened. I put it nicely it's a miscomm & explained the details. My big boss adv me to trash it out with my boss first, if can't resolve, he would step in.

I waited for my boss to approach me to talk but he didn't. So at 10am, i asked him to go meeting room to talk. I knew he wanted me to apologise to him but i refused. He's simply too defensive & can't listen anything in. It's his ego again!!! Him & his ego, unable to accept critisms. Once, in closed mtg rm, he behaved like a rudely gangster. He's in his late 40s but his behaviour showed no trace of maturity. He likes to put people down with words. Simply put, he's a selfish & uncouth fellow.

Haiz...his harsh language kept buzzing in my brain. No choice, i informed my big boss that we can't resolve, & i'll leave it to his superior to counsel him. In my whole career, i had never come across such kind of boss. I forsee lots more conflicts, as this is only the beginning & my 3rd week in this job. I'll not tolerate such behaviour. The more he wants to corner me, the more i will retaliate. Please dun judge me by my petty frame...cos' i always believe, respect need to be earned. By working smart & building up my personal charisma will push my career to greater heights!!!
