It seems like not too long ago, i went to Korea but counting back, it's been 6 mths liao! Wow! On Friday, me & my gfs caught up wif another 3 gals fr our korea tour. Actually, we had all been wondering how this bunch of gals are but somehow we juz din arrange for any mit-up. Out of the blue，zf reminded ruby & i abt the free coffee the gals 'owed' us, waahaaa!
Since we were all allocated the back seats in the crowded coach, 3 + 3 gals made 6 noisy gals! hehe! There was once when these 3 gals, MF, Joelin & Jeannie asked us to guess their age & well, we guessed wrongly! But due to this, MF was happy tt we guessed a younger age vs her actual age, so she promised to treat us to coffee when back in Sg!
Despite the 10 yrs age gap bet their gang & ours, we could joke & talk together! hohoho! Met up for dinner at MOF, Bugis Junction. I had reserved a balcony seating area for the 6 of us. Well, this is my 2nd time at this branch & had a pretty good impression of their svc. When i phoned in to reserve, the guy did asked if i hv any preference seating area. But at that time i din tot of any special seating area till i was shopping there & saw MOF have balcony area! Cool! We had some privacy as the area was situated from the inner noisy diners...but had a shock when an ice-cube fr nowhere landed on our table!!! So there's a bit of hazard here as the food court was situated upstairs & probably some naughty kid flung the ice cube down!
However due to the busy fri evening dining crowd, there seems to be a delay in their serving time. Cos when 5 of us received our set orders, Ruby's 冷面 was actually late! I tried the Grilled Salmon with Chix, while 3 of them had some Tempura seafood sets. Joelin had the Beef Sukiyaki.
Each of us also topped up our set meals for the free coffee/tea + desserts. The desserts that we could opt for hav to be less than $6.50, despite this we were still spoilt for choices browsing the desserts menu! haha! The desserts we ordered were 3 Shira Kuri Mitsu, 1 Strawberry Gelato, 1 Mango Gelato & 1 Black Sesame Gelato. The server was blur & gave only 1 honey syrup for our 3 sets of Shira Kuri Mitsu! But it sure tasted better by pouring the honey onto the jap mochi. Thou it seems like a small bowl but i almost couldn't finish up! The soft serve topped wif fruits, kanten jelly & mochi were veri filling ah! There was a funny scene. Tis young waiter came to take order for our coffee or tea. While he was taking our order, he seems to know Zf & asked why she's still here? (we were wondering if that's his pick-up line? keke!) After he left, we asked Zf if she knew him...she said Dunno! Haha! He's not too bad looking & we gals started guessing his age. When he came by to serve our drinks, we asked his age & he gave this ''pai sei'' look & mentioned that he's veri young only, 25 yrs old! Haha! It's quite hilarious LoL.
After dinner, we adjoined to TCC but had to Q ... after much waiting, we got an alfresco table as there's no available big table inside. I was amazed at MF & Jeannie's elephant memory! These gals were able to recite our bio-data thou' we told them in Nov 07 leh! Gasp! But we alreadi forgot some of their details liao. Nvm, we shall try our best to rmbr now! haha! Anyway, it was a relaxing & fun-filled session catching up!
