Wedding Lunch & Watch 'Happy Feet'

This weekend is pretty occupied too. Sat noon time, attended one of my poly classmate, yanbin's wedding lunch. Met up with ZF & Ruby to go there...we were lost as the venue is not really visible from the main road leading up to ROM. Though slightly cloudy, we were alreadi panting & sweating as gotto climb up some stairs to reach the venue. The wedding albums were nice... then we gals start wondering if we should go do a make-over together, haha! Seems like every classmate's wedding is a catch-up time, as class gatherings are getting harder these days. We had a good time chatting, but the food didn't suit my taste-buds...the fillet's sauce is salty! Well well, we also hear some shocking news abt a particular classmate... which is one of the most stunning news we hear this year. On the other hand, also hear good news - another classmate is going to marry off to a hongkie next yr!!! (envious!). Me & ZF start enquiring if her husband-to-be can intro some hongkie to us too, waahaa! ZF want to be a tai-tai there, while i juz want to live in HK.

After the lunch ended close to 3pm, we strolled to Liang Court to check out digi cams & to Clarke Quay for some photo shots of the 3 of us... once in a blue moon to get dressed up, keke! Wearing heels was no joke, as i dun feel comfy in them...feets got painful. We ended up in Funan Sakae Sushi, & had the most salty suki chix pot....buay tahan! Still, Sushi Tei's sukiyaki taste best! We continued our chit-chat over dinner till 8plus & sayonara.

Today, i arranged to meet xiuling to watch 'Happy Feet', a meaningful, yet musical-style cartoon. It's about a penguin, Mumble who is different from the rest of the Emperor Penguins as he can't sing but was gifted with the ability to dance. Being able to sing is a must for the Emperor Penguins as they sing during their mating to attract the females penguins. Fate brought Mumble to another penguin land, where some cute little penguins appreciated his talent & looked up to him as the leader. Well, i shall not elaborate more...but it's recommended to catch this movie! See how penguins can also dance & rap at the same time. The morale is to develop your talent to the best, not to lose it juz becos' you are different from the rest.
