Basically, HK consists of 3 key portions -- HK Island, Kowloon & New Territories. Most tourist only hang around HK Island & Kowloon. I had traversed to the New Territories to locate a temple where the locals believe that turning the ''wind-mill'' in the temple can change your luck. I also saw the 'Wishing Trees', which by now was destroyed by the typhoon. Well, I also went wif my hk frens to cycle in New Territories & did outdoor BBQ there... veri local. hehe! Despite my repeated visits, i still have many places yet to leave my footprints, haahaa!
So much said, do look fwd to share my new experience when i return...stay tuned! Next, upon return, will be my bday soon... That's why May 2007 will be fun!
Yesterday was Labour Day & lunched wif family at kopitiam at Purvis St, aka 'hainan st'. This evening, was out dining wif my sec sch frens, Yan & Xiuling. So coincidence, the venue was at Purvis St too! It's this tiny restaurant named ''Miss Clarity''. It's really budget, with no gst & svc charge. Each of our western dinner, pretty big portion cost below $10! The food not bad, except we dun like e noise, like fish mkt, cos flooded wif students & execs. After dinner, we switched to opp, Killiney Kopitiam for coffee & chit chat. Xiuling was complaining she had gained weight, yet still can goof down 2 slices of kaya toast straight after dinner...alamak!
